The objectives of the Forum shall be as follows:
- to work for reestablishing, and thereafter enhancing the human rights and people’s democracy in Nepal
- to campaign for freedom from violence and terrorism, freedom of speech and political expression, and freedom of opportunity for all people of Nepal regardless of ethnicity, caste, gender, minority status, or economic background.
- to serve a link between grassroots Nepalese activists and citizens, donor agencies, all well wishers of Nepal and international diplomatic, political development, and media communities by facilitating two way communication and flow of information.
- to expand the network of Nepalese people who are concerned about and working for a better future of Nepal.
To conduct social work among Nepalese society in Australia and in Nepal.
- to advocate for human rights of Nepalese people in Australia and preventing violations to these rights.
- to conduct the research and make publicity of them as per requirement in varieties of media.
- to conduct interactions among human rights activist groups, believing that people with mutual values must work in coalitions to assemble force.
- to attract attention of Australian and international media and garner their support in regards to solving the current political and human rights crisis in Nepal.
