Nepalese Forum
for Human Rights and People's Democracy (NEHURIPD) Australia,
is a non governmental, social and non-profit making
organization established in Australia. The organization
is founded and registered in 2005 with the main objective
of promoting human rights and democracy that contributes
towards peace, civil liberties and press freedom, and
ultimately people's sovereignty in Nepal. The core value
underpinning its work is, Human Rights through Peoples'
Democracy.
The organization focuses on two fundamental aspects:
first, human rights, second, closely associated with
human right is, welfare of Nepalese people around the
world, particularly those living in Australia and Nepal.
We are against any form of political or any other violence
that undermine the human rights in Nepal, and firmly
believe that human dignity will continue to be threatened
unless people’s sovereignty is restored and political
parties allowed operating freely.
NEHURIPD, Australia desires to foster collaboration and develop partnership with likeminded international and national organizations. It will seek support from various governmental, non-governmental, private, social organizations to enhance the Nepalese Democratic movement and work as a pressure element to reduce the violation of human rights in Nepal. |
